Apium lab is a multidisciplinary practice. The bureau is one way this work takes shape.
Part of the practice happens with other brands, founders and independent creators, developing products and sensorial experiences from the first idea through to the finished creation.
My work has moved across beauty, plants, fragrance, formulation, writing and creative direction for more than three decades. That experience lives in the details: an ingredient, a texture, a scent, a name, a story, the feeling of a product in the hand, and the world it belongs to.
I work with a French laboratory for formulation and production, and with a trusted circle of makers, designers and specialists when their particular knowledge belongs in the process.
The work is always personal. The scale may change, the collaborators may change, but the attention does not.

ONE TO ONE
Every person arrives with a different story. Some seek greater ease in their bodies. Others are navigating change, recovering from burnout, reconnecting with themselves, or looking for a different way of moving through life.
With more than three decades across the healing arts, movement, bodywork, aromatherapy and sensory practice, I draw from a wide range of disciplines rather than following a single method. Each session is shaped around the person in front of me, and what feels most relevant to explore at that time.
Together, we may explore movement, bodywork, breath, conversation, sensory practices or restorative touch.
THE APIUM FIELD
A living network of trusted practitioners from around the world, connected through years of friendship, work and shared experience.
The network spans bodywork, movement and physical rehabilitation, psychotherapy, spiritual practice, digestive health, astrology and intuitive work, alongside other forms of care and inquiry.
Some are people I have worked with professionally. Others are practitioners I have returned to over the years myself. We stay connected, share knowledge, and continue to learn from one another.
Sometimes the right person is simply not the person you expected to find. And often, finding the right combination of people can take as much time and energy as the work itself.
That is where I come in. We begin with a conversation about what is happening in your life. From there, I draw on my network and make the connections that feel most relevant, bringing together the people and perspectives that can support your particular path.
Sessions are available online worldwide, or in person where practitioners are local.

WAYS OF CARING
Ways of Caring is the first collection from Apium lab.
It grows from Seasons, first published independently in Paris in 2013. Three editions followed, each evolving with the work. The third, published in 2024, is now sold out.
The new book brings together much of what has shaped my practice over three decades, alongside material from an unpublished manuscript on healing, childhood and resilience.
Reflections, practices, recipes and everyday ways of paying attention to the body, the senses, the home and the seasons, with 24 recipe cards arranged across the four seasons. Each card carries an original artwork by South African artist and friend Ruschka Du Toit, her own interpretation of the Apium lab floral emblem.
A small collection of objects accompanies the book, extending the work beyond the page. Created exclusively for Ways of Caring, two pouches were developed with The Joinery and handcrafted from their signature recycled leather.
The smaller pouch holds the recipe cards and fits inside the larger one, which holds the book.
Layers within layers. A playful construction, but also a simple principle: each piece has a purpose, and the collection can be carried and used in different ways.
The prototypes of the collection are shown for the first time in Cape Town on October 22nd, ahead of its official launch in March 2027.
